Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure

When it comes to exploring, I do not discriminate. I dream of visiting the Greek ruins and the birth place of Democracy, but I am also just as happy to take a trip to Orlando, Florida with my sisters and cousin to ride some roller coasters.

We went to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure for New Years this past year. This was honestly the best New Years Eve celebration I ever had. We spent four days running around the park feeling like kids again and what better way to start the year than that.

This was my first visit to Diagon Alley since it opened and it totally surpassed my expectations. The entire atmosphere makes you feel like you actually could get your letter from Hogwarts in the mail any day now…I am still waiting on mine…

I conquered my fear and went on the Ripe Ride Rock It Roller coaster, we rode the new Escape from Gringotts ride multiple times until we knew the ride by heart and watched fireworks right next to the Transformers ride. It might not be the most “high class” New Years Eve but I’d take it over any stuffy party anytime.
